Matt Nadel is a documentary filmmaker whose work has been acquired and distributed by the New York Times, The New Yorker, and PBS, among other outlets. After premiering at the Cannes Film Festival Emerging Filmmaker Showcase, his latest doc short, CANS Can’t Stand, was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award, was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick, and won awards at festivals around the world, including NewFest, Outfest, and Provincetown. He was born and raised in Florida and is now based in Brooklyn.

Luke Hodges is a filmmaker based in New York City, with roots in South Carolina. With Matt Nadel, he is the co-founder of Nine Patch Pictures, a small documentary production company focused on queer stories. Nine Patch films have been supported by the Catapult Film Fund, NBCUniversal, and the New York Public Library, and screened at festivals like DOC NYC and Provincetown, among others. His latest documentary short, Odd Man In (executive produced by Academy Award®winner Caroline Waterlow), will premiere in 2026 on PBS’ Independent Lens.

Julie Cohen is the Academy Award® nominated, Emmy winning director and producer of RBG (2018) along with Betsy West. Other films she’s directed with West include JULIA (2021), which was shortlisted for an Academy Award; My Name is Pauli Murray (2021), which won a Peabody Award; and Gabby Giffords Won't Back Down (2022), which was nominated for the Critics Choice Award for Best Documentary Feature. Solo directing projects include Every Body (2023), The Sturgeon Queens (2014), and Ndiphilela Ukucula: I Live to Sing (2013).
